Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Formal title: "Jurassic Invasion Force"
A large pack of allosaurs is on the move. The generally warm climate of the Jurassic has given way to a freakishly cold winter. The verdant valley that this group of carnivores inhabits has been covered in snow, something that these dinosaurs have never experienced. The cold has driven away all the prey, so this group has gathered to march through a mountain pass and invade a neighboring valley where there is hopefully better hunting. The path they trudge along is lined with fir trees, while behind them, a snow covered mountain juts into the deep blue sky.
I started this scene several weeks ago in early November. The weather in the Atlanta area was unusually cold at that time, and it gave me the idea of doing a scene where dinosaurs of a generally warm climate had to deal with a season that was way out of the ordinary. I'm sure that there will be nitpickers who tell me that there was no snow in the Jurassic, but do you real...
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
