Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
A roaring tyrannosaurus rex is on the hunt during a lightning storm! This is actually the first dinosaur I ever painted (as an adult), and was featured in my children's book "How Life Began", published by Doubleday in 1991.
Jerry LoFaro After ruling out his initial career choices as a paleontologist, zoologist, baseball player and Good Humor ice cream man, Jerry LoFaro employed his lifetime interest in dinosaurs, animals, fantasy, art history, and literature into a successful career as an illustrator. His formal art education was spent at S.U.N.Y., New Paltz, in 1980-81, while his most valuable lessons came a few years later in figure drawing classes with the legendary Gustav Rehberger at the Art Students League of New York.
